Prof. Dr. Muhammet Ali AKCAYOL received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from Gazi University in 1993, 1998, and 2002, respectively. In his PhD thesis, he worked on applying fuzzy logic and artificial neural networks to dynamic systems. He was at Michigan State University for postdoctoral research in 2004. He is the director of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where projects supported by national and international organizations are carried out. The projects he has led have been supported by various public and private sector organizations, especially Gazi University, TÜBİTAK, T.C. Ministry of Industry and Technology, T.C. Ministry of Health, World Bank, Havelsan, TUSAŞ, KoçSistem, and Huawei. He is an editor/field editor and referee in many international and national journals. He has served as session chairman, organizing board member, and scientific board member in prestigious conferences worldwide. He is a professional member of the ACM.
Konya Technical University, TÜRKİYE
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Servet Kıran serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department at Konya Technical University. He completed his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. education in the Department of Computer Engineering. Specializing in Swarm Intelligence and Evolutionary Comptation, Dr. Kıran developed the tree-seed algorithm in 2015, which has been successfully applied to solving optimization problems with different characteristics since 2015. Due to his internationally recognized studies in the field of metaheuristics optimization, Dr. Kıran was awarded the TÜBA Young Scientists Award in 2023 and the TÜBİTAK Engineering Sciences Incentive Award in 2024.
Karabuk University, TÜRKİYE
Adib Habbal (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. in Computer Science specializing in Networked Computing from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2014. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering and Founding Head of the Innovative Networked Systems (INETs) Research Group at Karabuk University, Türkiye, after spending ten years as a senior lecturer at UUM. His research, funded by organizations including the Internet Society and IEEE R10, has resulted in over 100 refereed technical publications and the supervision of 10 PhD scholars. His achievements include several UUM awards and fellowships from international organizations. An active member of the academic community, he serves as an editor for top-tier journals and on technical program committees, with research interests in Future Internet, Applied AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Blockchain Technology, and Digital Trust.
